PRIMARY PURPOSE: To promote geer week and information in relations to it to all students.

NATURE OF WORK: Team members will work directly under the AVP Geer Week on the promotional material for Geer Week. Team members will create a promotional campaign for Geer Week to encourage attendance and involvement in Geer week, reaching as many people as possible.

ACCOUNTABILITIES: Reporting directly to the AVP Geer Week, team members will work in a flexible capacity, creating a promotional campaign for Geer Week and executing it.

TASKS AND DUTIES: Report directly to the AVP Geer Week on a regular basis; strategize ways to effectively promote Geer week; organize and execute promotional campaign; and, maintain the transition document for the Geer Week Promotions Team position.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Candidates must be an undergraduate engineering student at the University of Alberta.
Experience
No previous experience is required for this position; however experience in technical writing would be beneficial.
Skills
Microsoft Office application skills; ability to work with and lead a team; possesses creative thinking and problem solving skills; effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal; proven vision and self-motivation skills; and, ability to work on multiple projects with competing demands to meet deadlines.
